Recent projects
- Organized 25th Lowell Wakefield Fisheries Symposium, Biology and Management of Exploited Crab Populations under Climate Change. Initially coordinated the 26th Lowell Wakefield Fisheries Symposium on ecosystems approaches to fisheries management.
- Coordinated ASG support for the Marine Biology module of the Alaska Summer Research Academy, assisted with logistics for the 2008 National Ocean Sciences Bowl national finals competition in Seward and the 2009 Alaska regional Ocean Sciences Bowl, and assisted with the Seas and Rivers Week Project.
Selected awards and accomplishments
Hold the Alaska Dog Mushers Association 8-dog, 12-mile track record (set in 1998). Consistent wins in equestrian dressage and hunter competitions; year-end high point and show championships. Sailed both coasts of Florida and the Okeechobee Waterway in a 23-foot Rob Roy yawl rig, double-ended sailboat.
