Feds make $6 million available for aquaculture research

Fairbanks, Alaska—NOAA's National Sea Grant Office, in partnership with the NOAA Aquaculture Program, will make up to $6 million available in a national research competition aimed at supporting the development of environmentally and economically sustainable ocean, coastal or Great Lakes aquaculture.
Institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations, commercial organizations, state, local and tribal governments, and individuals interested in aquaculture research are encouraged to submit proposals to this special National Sea Grant research opportunity.
