woman in labThe Seafood Processing Quality Control (SPQC) training program includes classroom lectures and hands-on activities in the Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center pilot plant and laboratory to build the expertise required by seafood quality control professionals. The program is designed to broaden skills and overall knowledge in seafood quality, safety, regulatory requirements, sanitation procedures, sensory analysis, and other QA/QC-related industry topics.

The registration fee is $480.00. Participants will receive a certificate of achievement upon completion of the training.

This workshop is provided as a partnership between Alaska Sea Grant and the Manufacturing Alaska Extension Partnership which is part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology national network.
