Let’s Talk about the Boat: Maintenance, Fuel Efficiency and Capital Preservation

This session focuses on fishing vessel maintenance, what’s needed to retain the value of your main business asset, and how to evaluate upgrade decisions. We’ll also discuss ways to reduce operating costs through improving fuel and energy efficiency and understanding energy production on your vessel.

Introduction to the International Pacific Halibut Commission and the Science Behind Fisheries Management

After a brief introduction to the International Pacific Halibut Commission, an international regulatory body that is meeting in Juneau, we’ll observe their meeting’s final deliberations at Centennial Hall.
