The call for abstracts has been extended through Friday, April 8.

The Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference and Forum invites researchers to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations at our WAISC 2022 conference, focusing on adapting connections for the communication of knowledge, science, and experiences.

We welcome abstracts related to Western Alaska from any scientific disciplinary background, whether the work is empirical or theoretical; in the following areas:

Abstracts will be peer reviewed. Acceptance will be based on content, available space, and overall program balance. Oral presentations will take place on Thursday and Friday, April 21 and 22, 2022.

Abstracts for oral and poster presentation are invited and should be submitted by Friday, April 8, 2022, using the WAISC abstract submission form. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words for oral or poster presentations, single spaced and include the following information:

Notification of proposal acceptance will be sent by Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Presenters must register for the conference in order to participate.
