Alaska Seafood Processing Leadership Institute
2022–2023 application
The 2022–2023 Alaska Seafood Processing Leadership Institute (ASPLI) is an intensive professional development training program designed to foster individuals who are up and coming leaders in Alaska’s seafood processing industry. As part of the application process, applicants must identify a mentor who can provide professional guidance throughout the Institute and help with an individual project. The mentor can be a supervisor or other employee in your seafood processing plant, or someone from a regional nonprofit organization. Applicants must also provide the name of a financial sponsor who will support the required contribution.
Application instructions
To apply for this program, you must
- be able to commit to the schedule of events
- November 7–11, 2022, in Kodiak
- November 2022–March 2023 in-plant project
- March 6–10, 2023, in Anchorage
- be employed in Alaska, although the processor you work for is not required to be based in Alaska

Deadline: Applications should be submitted by October 3, 2022. Applications received after this date may be accepted if there is space available. You will be notified of acceptance by email, normally within a few working days of receipt of your application.
