Abstract: By all accounts, the 2013 Wakefield Fisheries Symposium was a resounding success. The timely topic prompted a wide variety of informative presentations that challenged us to think about the gravity and enormity of the challenge scientists face in trying to interpret the complex changes being observed.
A brief summary follows, ending with some ideas for how scientists might share their work and help the public better understand the ways the changing climate is also changing the marine environment.
