Description
This publication presents the most current information about marine fishes in the US Arctic, an area with decreasing ice and increasing accessibility to exploration. The catalog reports new discoveries on the biology and ecology of fishes in the US Chukchi and Beaufort Seas, since the 2002 publication of Fishes of Alaska by Mecklenburg et al. Included are descriptions of 109 marine fish species, 20 of which were not previously known to be in the Arctic.
