Description
This two-page publication defines ocean acidification, tells why it is a threat to Alaska fisheries, and describes how it is detected. While effects of ocean acidification are not obvious now in Alaska, they may be observable 40 years from now. Alaskans are advised to support ocean acidification research and lower their carbon dioxide emissions, and fishermen would do well to diversify their operations.
