Briefly describe your graduate project: Using two portable odor-detection devices (electronic noses), I will evaluate the quality of raw and canned salmon and compare the results from those two instruments with sensory and GC/MS analysis (R/51-03).

Why did you choose UAF? I came to visit my sister in Fairbanks and spent time with her family for about a year. I have faced both extreme winter and fantastic summer conditions that have been very challenging for me.

Favorite pastimes and hobbies: Reading, fishing, and watching movies.

Most interesting educational experience so far: I have been working on the interesting equipment with the excellent professors.

Future plans: I would like to work in quality control or quality assurance section for the seafood factory.
