Travel Assistance Information
Travel assistance funds are sometimes available if needed to help cover part of the expenses of Alaskan teams participating in NOSB.
Funds are not available for the 2013 competition.
When figuring the cost of the trip for a team, consider the following:
- Air fare
- Rental vehicles
- Lodging during travel
- Food during travel
- Breakfast and dinner while in Seward
- Local financial contributions and fundraising
Alaska Tsunami National Ocean Sciences Bowl will provide all participating teams with the following lodging and food:
Thursday
- Three hotel rooms if arriving in Seward on Thursday
Friday
- Morning snack
- Lunch
- Afternoon snack
- Dinner
- Three hotel rooms
Saturday
- Morning snack
- Lunch
- Afternoon snack
- Three hotel rooms
Sunday
- Morning snack
- Lunch
