2011 Alaska Tsunami Practice Questions
For the 2011 regional and national NOSB competitions, the national office has increased the number of questions per round from 16 pairs to 20 pairs. It is hoped this will make it less likely for teams to run out of questions before running out of time in each round. Here are three rounds of questions you can use for practice. If you print these, it is suggested that two questions be put on each page, with the toss-up question on the left and the paired bonus question on the right.
Writing your own questions is also a good way to practice. If you'd like to have your questions posted here to share with other teams, please send them to phyllis.shoemaker@alaska.edu.
