Alaska Tsunami Ocean Sciences Bowl

The Alaska Tsunami Ocean Sciences Bowl is a regional competition for Alaska high schools on topics related to the study of the oceans. This regional event is part of the annual National Ocean Sciences Bowl. The winning team of the Alaska Tsunami Bowl competes against other regional teams from all over the United States.

Test your knowledge of ocean sciences by playing the new Ocean Sciences Quiz. It's fun and easy, and it's great practice for NOSB.
High school students: Submit questions and win a VISA gift card!
Go to the Ocean Sciences Quiz and submit as many ocean science-related questions as you can in the month of February (February 1 through February 29). See the OSQ Question Writing Contest for more information.
This contest is open only to high school students. Contest winners will be notified in May 2012.

"Living on the Ocean Planet" Video Contest
The National Ocean Sciences Bowl and the National Marine Educators Association have announced the 2012 "Living on the Ocean Planet" video contest, open to currently enrolled high school students. The theme for this year's contest is "A Sea of Change: Development and Evolution."
