Nome, Alaska—The Bering Strait Maritime Symposium, held Feb. 5–6 in Nome, sought to address issues involved with the increased shipping traffic through the Bering Strait. The Bering Strait Maritime Symposium was spotlighted in the Nome Nugget and on local public radio station KNOM.
