Lebanon (Middle East)—Rick Steiner, conservation specialist with the Alaska Sea Grant Marine Advisory Program, recently returned from a two-week trip to Lebanon, where he helped the Lebanese government assess the environmental damage caused by a massive oil spill in the region. Upon his return to Alaska, Steiner spoke with the San Francisco Bay Independent Media Center.
