Arrange for a guest speaker to talk to the students about liquid waste disposal, water treatment, or water pollution. Check with guest to see if a projector or computer is needed for their presentation. Students will review their notes in their science notebooks from the previous day’s investigation. They will compare or share with a partner or team of students to see what they have learned about the water cycle. They will brainstorm questions to ask the guest speaker. They will take notes when the speaker is explaining water treatment.
