This workshop will be conducted at the UAF Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center by Alex Oliveira. The class will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm both days. The registration fee for this class is $200.00. Participants in the Seafood Processing Quality Control training may register for the HACCP class at a discounted price.
(HACCP Segment 2 is $50.00 and is available to those who take the online course through the National Seafood HACCP Alliance for Training and Education. HACCP is a process that has been established for seafood processing to prevent foodborne illness. This workshop helps Alaska seafood processors set up and carry out this federally mandated program. For more information see the HACCP Alaska Workshops web page or contact Chris Sannito at 907-486-1500.
