A two-day, hands-on marine safety, navigation and small boat handling skills course. Topics covered include: weather, radio communication, anchoring, cold-water survival, flares, outboard motor operation, etc. Class size limited and registration is required. Registration deadline: August 21st. Instructors: Torie Baker and Dyna Kuntzsch. This course is offered in cooperation with the Alaska Marine Safety Education Association. Workshop is filled.
