This 10-hour practical, hands on course meets the USCG safety training requirements for commercial fishermen operating documented vessels operating beyond the Boundary Line. Sponsored for AYFS attendees by the Commercial Fishing and Agriculture Bank, this half-day course covers questions to ask before joining a board, board member roles and responsibilities, how to effectively participate in the non-profit verse advocacy world – all within the context of boards commercial fishermen need to join to strengthen business and community ties.
