USCG-Certified Drill Conductor Course

Alaska Marine Safety Education Association. This 10-hour practical, hands on course meets the USCG safety training requirements for commercial fishermen operating documented vessels operating beyond the Boundary Line.

Are you considering joining a fishing association, CDQ or hatchery board? Sponsored for AYFS attendees by the Commercial Fishing and Agriculture Bank, this half-day course covers questions to ask before joining a board, board member roles and responsibilities, how to effectively participate in the non-profit verse advocacy world – all within the context of boards commercial fishermen need to join to strengthen business and community ties.
