Business of Fish Course: Alternative Fishing Technologies
April 28, 2009, 12:00 – 1:50 pm
Even though Alaska's commercial fishing sector appears to have hit a wall when it comes to harvesting technology, particularly with heavily regulated fishing practices, there is always room to explore. This workshop takes a look at some of the inventive and innovative fishing technologies throughout the world, and asks whether they would make sense in parts of Alaska.
