Nov. 29th at 7:00 PM

By Dave Crowley – A.D.F.G. - Meet at the Science Center.

This program presents the beautiful denizen of our coastal rain forest, the black-tailed deer. We’ll look back to when deer were first brought to our shores from Southeast Alaska. Then we’ll discuss the biology, seasonal movements, food habits and breeding of black-tails. We will also briefly cover the social and economic aspects of this important game species and management of black-tails on the northern extreme of their range.
