Shorebird Festival in Panama -

Learn about the Bay of Panama being inducted into the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network. Understand the importance of Panama to the migrating birds and what steps Panama City is trying to take to insure future habitat for Western Hemisphere shorebirds. Join the Mayor of Cordova as he describes the ceremony and events surrounding the induction of the Bay of Panama into the Shorebird Reserve Network. A few photos of the Panama Canal as well as some of the local wildlife will be interspersed in the presentation.
