Cleaning and Preserving Animal Skulls
Tuesday, February 14th - 7:00 p.m.
By Dave Crowley, Alaska Dept. of F&G
Meet at the Forest Service conference room upstairs.
From moose to merganzer, the skull of a beast is a fascinating object, a sculpture
of the animal's mode of life. Often discarded by hunters and trappers, skulls are
easy to clean for display and study. This program will address how to clean and
preserve your toothy treasures using inexpensive techniques. If you already have
your own proven method, come and tell us about it. There will be skulls and other
materials available to view too.
