Alaska Seafood Processing Leadership Institute

The goal of this leadership institute was to train future leaders in the seafood processing industry. Promising future leaders were identified and received advanced training in seafood processing, marketing and logistics and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point HACCP certification. The trainees also received instruction in plant and personnel management and leadership. The training culminated in a trip to the International Boston Seafood Show and Iceland to view professional seafood processing operations and facilities.
