Description

A plankton survey of the Resurrection Bay fjord in Alaska indicates that the fjord is poor in phytoplankton, but rich in zooplankton. The authors recommend that walleye pollock and northern shrimp larvae become the focus of future fisheries oceanographic studies in Resurrection Bay because of the large quantity of these species found during the survey.
